Over the weekend, I went to my local BMW enthusiast group’s season opener. Not a single person used their turn signal on their way in and out! I’m just kidding, I’m sure a couple did.
When I first spotted this car, I was disgusted and thought to myself “wow, rice”. The licence plate even says “HATER”! Got closer though and wow, the wrap job was really impressive and each LV... logo? was perfectly straight. The wheels and fitment were nice, lowered but not stanced with ridiculous camber. I take it this car was built to be an awesome daily. The sound system was loud as hell but sounded really good. The interior was also really clean and a nice colour. I have to say, I ended up really liking this car, it was probably one of my favourite at the meet.
I parked Em next to an older sibling. Oh, and at the left those are two e30 M3’s. If I could use emojis on here, it’d be that one with hearts for eyes, maybe the fire and ok symbol too!
A slammed e46, air suspension saves lips people! That interior!
Lambourghini X Alpina, not something you see everday.
JDM POWER!
Crouching tiger hidden kitty?
So many beauties, all stretching their legs after hibernation!
I really like this one, a RWD classic BMW in wagon form? drool
M vs AMG. One of my favourite pictures from the day!
My boy’s 335xi.
Em sitting pretty with two of my boys’ e9xs.

haha, that was my first thought too! my mind changed after a close up. Although I could do without the LV wrap, the car was clean.

I can’t help but agree, it just doesn't suit the period in my opinion. Still love it though haha

Woah woah woah. Ontario plates? Where was this? Looks like there were some awesome cars there.
Lovely pictures too.
Side note: Are you in an official BMW car club in Ontario? I am planning to head out to the autoslalom at Mosport this Sunday.

This was the BMW True North Season Opener. I’m from the GTA and plan to go to as many meets, races, events, as possible.
What autoslalom organization are you running with? I’m thinking of singing up for the push it to the limit series. It’ll be first time for me.
And Thanks!

This was at Eurocharged Canada. I hope you didn’t miss out on the TCS season opener the week before; the Subaru Club has its season opener on the 25th and the first Toronto C&C is May 3!

Awesome photos! That DB9 was mint, and its nice to see the familiar face that was the frozen blue M3 (hope he didnt damage the lip since I last saw him).
Maybe I’ll run into you at some meets :)

I’m not running in it this weekend. Just going to watch and photograph it. It’s one of the BMW club of Canada events, so I’d wondered if you were in one.
I work every other weekend so I don’t get out to as much as I like. Cars and Coffee is something I try to make it out to.
I’m just over in Whitby. I did one of the PITL events last year, it was a lot of fun. I plan to do more his year.

Ahh nice, I’ll have to look into the BMW car club. I only just bought my first BMW last year, and spent 6 months out of the country so not really in the scene yet I suppose haha.
Cars and Coffee’s also one of the events I plan to go as often as I can this summer, they always have a good lineup of nice cars.
And that’s good to hear! I’m excited to give autocross a try!
If you see a red BMW e30 with duct tape on the drivers side fender, come say hi!

This
is the BMW Autoslalom event list. Club info should be in there somewhere too.
I definitely enjoyed Cars and Coffee last year. There was some very interesting cars and the lineup had some good variety.
I’ll definitely come say hi.

Oh sweet that sounds like a good event. I won’t be attending any autocrosses till around mid-end May, that’s when I’m getting a manual transmission swap done. I don’t think autocross with a partially working slushbox is the best idea haha

It might not be the most competitive idea, but it’s still probably fun.
http://www.casc.on.ca/forums/showthr… It’s a list of autocross events around the GTA and Central Ontario for this year.
